Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
It is recommended that a rental property has an electrical inspection every three to five years. An EICR is an important document to prove that you as a landlord are taking all steps to ensure the safety of your tenants.
PAT Testing
Portable Appliance Testing is recommended annually for all rental properties. If you are a landlord of a HMO (House in Multiple Occupancy) then it is a legal requirement for an annual PAT test.
